Perfectionism & Cognitive Therapy
These are backed by decades of research science. At Trellis, we combine time-tested methods with innovation to bring you the best quality therapy available today.
You’ve tried everything to feel normal, but nothing’s really worked.
You need real-world, effective skills to be able to fully function, heal, and maximize your quality of life.
You’re still struggling with:
anxiety & depression, the perfectionist rollercoaster of overwhelm followed by troughs of lows.
overthinking or getting stuck on one thought or feeling that seems to dominate
negative behavior, but you’re not sure why or where it’s coming from, much less how to modify it.
Cognitive Behavioral/Processing Therapy can help.
These approaches have been used for decades to help with things like anxiety, depression, insomnia, PTSD, panic attacks and more.

The mental health field loves acronyms! Here’s a quick way to distinguish:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is used for a wide variety of issues, and provides benefit by linking thoughts, feelings and behavior.
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is a newer version of therapy that is used primarily for PTSD. It links thoughts about one’s trauma through a narrative process.

Yes! Both cognitive therapies are approved for children and teens…with a few exceptions.
Individuals engaging in any kind of therapy should be developmentally able to meaningfully participate in the session, regardless of age.
Trellis offers both therapies in person and online across the Texas Hill Country.
