

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A)
Master's of Arts Clinical Mental Health Counseling
A Licensed Professional Counselor Associate is a credentialed professional who has completed and graduated from a Master's level counseling program, and passed the National Counselor Exam. In the state of Texas, these individuals must complete 3,000 counseling hours over a minimum of 18 months before they can be considered licensed as an Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

LPC-Associates must practice under the supervision of an LPC-Supervisor (LPC-S), and often bring a fresh, enthusiastic perspective to counseling at a reduced session fee.
